The Central Plant Automations Programming Engineer reviews project plans, interprets developments throughout the process, and gives advice for necessary changes. This role is also responsible for reviewing operational plans to ensure the machinery and processes meet compliance regulations.
This role improves the central plant’s efficiency, upgrades new technologies, repairs equipment, increases production, and reduces utility issues including bottlenecks. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Central Plant Automations Programming Engineer is responsible for overseeing the electrical/mechanical systems of the central plant, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
